The Document Search assistant can answer questions about content from any document that is indexed in Terminal. The assistant can read basic text, and can read and collect data from tables and charts.
Document Search in Asset Overview
You can navigate to the Document Assistant by entering the full screen mode on Asset Overview, clicking the Documents tab, and then clicking the Alfred icon.
When you open Document assistant for a given document you can click on one of the pre-generated prompts, or enter your own prompt about that document in the chat bar.
Document Search in Alfred
You can also access the Document Assistant in Alfred. When you access Document Assistant in Alfred, you will search our universe of documents - not a specific document.
You will know the Document Assistant is being called in Alfred if the prompt returns an answer with a citation linked to a document.
The universe of documents is currently limited, and includes public documents like 10-Ks and 10-Qs, FOMC minutes, earnings transcripts and presentations, and fund fact sheets.
Note that this feature is in beta and is not yet available to all users. If you're interested in learning more about Document Search please contact sales.
