This document will guide you through the basics of the Toggle platform. The initial setup is key to the AI-powered curation of investment insights specifically tailored to you.

Getting Started

Setting Your Watchlist

Every day, the system scans a vast number of relationships between traditional and alternative data and asset prices. It is on the lookout for any unusual imbalances or recurrent patterns with forward implications for asset prices.

In order to make sure that these insights are curated to your interests, after logging in you should navigate to the Settings pane in the upper right hand corner to set your preferences.

You'll be taken to a page where you can add and delete assets you'd like to follow (e.g. SPX, Alibaba, etc).

Explore TOGGLE Insights 

Explore is the ultimate idea generation tool. 

When exploring the insights, clicking the headline reveals details of the analysis, giving you all the information you need to put the imbalance in a historical context. Toggle displays visual cues as to the importance of the highlighted driver, from the distribution of asset returns to the adjoining chart exploring the results of the back-test TOGGLE has performed. Finally, TOGGLE calculates a projected path and associated confidence intervals for the selected asset.

On the top of the Explore page, three different numbers are listed. First, the number of financial and macroeconomic variables analyzed by TOGGLE that day. Next, from that universe of variables, the displayed number shows how many had interesting moves. Lastly, the number of new insight articles produced.

Filtering TOGGLE Insights 

On the left-hand side of the page you can see a section called Filters. In this section you can select criteria to filter TOGGLE's published articles to receive an array of insights and assets that interest you. You can filter by top screens such as assets on your watchlist, popular insights, insights you bookmarked, and other characteristics. You can also filter the page by a variety of features applicable to both the asset and the insight. This consists of: stars the insight received on TOGGLE's quality check, bullish or bearish predictions, return profile, asset class (i.e. equities, currencies, or commodities), financial instruments, geography, the insight's horizon, driver, and the market caps or sectors of stocks listed.

Interested in sharing something you found with a friend or colleague? Simply copy+paste the URL or use one of the share buttons on the left side of the Insight Article

Each day, you’ll receive a TOGGLE Daily Digest of new Insights that have been found for your watchlist, as well as everything the system has found, making sure you never miss a beat.

Test Your Hypotheses

TOGGLE Compass allows you to tap into past data to quickly and robustly test hypotheses...analyze how a price pattern, fundamental, or market variable (inflation, positioning, etc.) may impact the forward path of asset prices. 

In the example above, a dramatic sell-off in Expedia Group can be analyzed in the context of past sell-offs. All you need to do is select the pattern or or highlight a price change, and the system does the rest. The parameters for the analysis are automatically taken from the chart and used by TOGGLE to identify relevant past analogs. An instant later, a forward price path appears.

Barring shocks to the travel industry or major systemic variables, Compass shows you that the oversold condition you’ve identified is likely to drive Expedia upward. Wondering how Oil prices may drive the stock? Layer in other variables and drivers just as easily.
