Security
TOGGLE uses best-in-class solutions for all layers of our technology stack, including the infrastructure used to link brokerage accounts. Plaid is the world’s largest aggregation provider and is trusted by thousands of companies, including Venmo and American Express.
To ensure a high level of security, TOGGLE follows by the following protocols:
- TOGGLE NEVER sees, stores, or has access to your real broker credentials
- All communication between the TOGGLE, Plaid, and Interactive Brokers uses bank-level 256-bit encryption
Multi-Factor-Authentication
Multi-Factor-Authentication (MFA) is an extra security measure brokers use to verify new devices that attempt to authenticate with a user’s credentials.
When connecting Interactive Brokers accounts, you will be prompted to verify via your secondary device.
Some brokerages support MFA on Plaid, others don’t. If you are having trouble connecting your account, please contact us.
